TENBURY is to lose one of its two fire engines.
In a cost cutting measure the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Authority has decided to go ahead with the controversial move.
The decision had been put on hold earlier this year but now the plan has now been agreed.
Concerns about the loss of the engine have provoked strong reaction in the Tenbury area including from Tenbury Town Council.
It is not clear at this stage what the implications for jobs will be.
There is currently no timetable for the loss of the engine.
