TWO gardens in south Shropshire will be open to show the glory of autumn and raise funds for good causes.

Radnor Cottage, near Craven Arms, will be open on Tuesday September 23 between 2pm and 6pm. This is a two acre south facing garden overlooking the Clun Valley with trees, shrubs, a pond and bog garden. Admission is £3 for adults and free for children with afternoons teas and a plant sale.

Millichope Park is a 14 acre estate with lakes, cascades and wooded walks. It is open on Sunday October 12 between 2pm and 5pm with admission £5 and free for children. Teas will be available and plants on sale. Visitors are welcome to bring dogs on a lead.

Both properties are open as part of the National Gardens Scheme that raises money for Macmillan, Marie Curie and Help for Hospices.
