ART doubles will feature at a new exhibition at Bishops Castle Town Hall.

The exhibition of paintings will be very different as most of the individual pictures on show have been painted by two artists not one.

Jock Wright, who lives in Bishop’s Castle and owns Yarborough House, has been producing works of art with John Welson, who has shown with artists as diverse as Salvador Dali and Damien Hirst.

The paintings are bright and animated abstract paintings with forms and colours that depict an atmosphere of the pure pleasure of the creative process.

To complement the exhibition of joint works the two JWs have added some of their individual pictures.

Jock Wright and John Welson will also be giving an illustrated talk on Wednesday September 10 at 7.30pm.
