BOTH Wellington and Westfields are out of the FA Cup after losing to higher graded opposition in their preliminary round ties.

Derek Williams' Wellington thought they had earned a replay after Ben Thomas grabbed his second goal of the game in the last minute to make it 2-2 against Stourport Swifts.

But joy turned to despair just moments later when Stourport went up the other end and saw Karl Fellowes convert from close range to grab a dramatic winner.

And Westfields lost 2-0 at home to Rugby Town.

Earlier in the Wellington game, Stourport opened the scoring in the 69th minute.

Jamie Hyde found Gary Walker, whose shot was fumbled into his net by Wellington goalkeeper Cristian Manciu.

But Wellington showed great tenacity to level 10 minutes later.

Paul Jones whipped in a corner that was expertly headed home by Thomas.

But back came Stourport to regain their lead just a minute later through John Griffin.

That seemed to be that until Thomas stabbed the ball home from a couple of yards out to the delight of the Wellington bench.

A replay looked on the cards, but it was Stourport who had the last laugh through Fellowes.

Meanwhile, goals from David Kolodynski and Seb Lake-Gaskin saw Rugby overcome Westfields at allpay.park.
