As a centrepiece to the event the Green Fair in Castle Square was filled with stalls exhibiting and selling green products and services.

There was also music, dancing, food, the Museum on the Move, and a children's craft activities in a yurt.

Linney Riverside Park played an important part of the festival where there was a Sound Sculpture, a chance to grab a bite to eat, and a stall to swap seeds.

Other activities included a family bike ride which organisers said was guaranteed to 'entertain, educate and exhaust'.

There was also an allotment open day with gardeners on hand to inspire people with green fingered aspirations.

Don Hale held a food foraging walk along the riverbank and a bushcraft ramble took place in Mortimer's Forest.

There was also a chance to travel by bus to Leintwardine where a three mile walk was organised alongside a visit to the Beer and Music Festival at The Sun Inn.
