MUSICIANS in the Ludlow Concert Band are getting ready to blow for the town’s historic church.
The band is putting on a concert at St Laurence's Church to help support improvement works.
Ludlow Concert Band was formed in 2009 with a handful of players and a grant from Ludlow Town Council of £1,500.
Since then the band has grown to 26 players and has played at many local events. Half of the money from the ticket sales is to be donated to the St Laurence's Vision project.
The band will be playing a range of music to suit all tastes and also features some solo pieces.
Ludlow Concert Band was one of the attractions at the Burwarton Show.
Tickets for the concert on Saturday September 27 at 7.30pm are £5 adults and £2.50 children. They will be available on the door and from the Ludlow Laundry Tower Street.
