A SPECIAL bus service is being run to bring people to the Ludlow Green Festival on Sunday (August 24).
And two festival organisers have clubbed together again this year to link their events by bus.
Ludlow Green Festival attracts hundreds of people and is keen to encourage visitors on board the festival bus to enjoy the nearby Sun Inn Beer and Music Festival at the Sun Inn in Leintwardine.
"The bus offers a lovely scenic ride through Mortimer Forest and calls at the historic village of Wigmore en route to Leintwardine. It returns on the main road back via Bromfield,” said Les Lumsdon, one of the event organisers.
“With a bus every hour you can hop on and off wherever you like and most people dip into the beer and music festival at the Sun Inn. It reduces the number of cars on the road in the area so that has to be good for the environment."
Steve Illidge, landlord of the Sun Inn, believes the bus is vital and thanked Hobsons Brewery who are sponsoring the service.
"The festival is a major event in the calendar of the village and with good beer, cider and good food on offer and a wide range of music, visitors coming in on the Hop On bus, love it,” he said.
