LYN Bailey from Ludlow and her basset hounds collected £2,500 for an animal charity last year but are determined to make 2014 even better.

This inspired Cathy Morris of Ludlow to volunteer to do a Zip Wire run to raise funds for the Brooke Hospital For Animals.

Zip Wire World is in the Snowdonia national park and this will be the location where 67-year-old Cathy will be travelling at 100mph down the wire.

Lyn and her fund-raising hounds will be taking Cathy there next month.

“This year is the 80th anniversary of the Brooke and we want to make it a year to remember by raising even more than last year’s total,” said Lyn.

Anyone who wants to be a sponsor or support the charity in any other way can contact Lyn Bailey on 01584890383 or 07923207841 or contact her on email at lynbailey32@yahoo.com.

Alternatively they can call Cathy Morris on 01584873426.
