THE Cleobury Mortimer Open Gardens Trail is being staged on Sunday (July 20) with the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust.
Eleven glorious gardens situated within the centre of Cleobury Mortimer will be open. All the gardens, each with its own unique character, are within and a short walking distance of each other.
Programmes are £5 per adult, with accompanied school children free, and will include a map and brief description of each garden.
They will be on sale locally beforehand, at Spire Hairdressing and Cleobury Country Centre Library, and may be purchased from members of the Friends committee or on the day at St Mary’s Church where it is anticipated most people will start and finish.
Refreshments will be served in the church.
Proceeds from the gardens will be divided between Shropshire Historic Churches Trust and The Friends of St. Mary’s Church.
The gardens are open between noon and 5pm.
