DOZENS of Ludlow women took part in Hereford's Race For Life.
They included a strong contingent from the town's Tesco Store taking part to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The runners dressed in pink with many wearing fancy dress, including brightly coloured wigs, to take part in the fundraiser at Hereford Racecourse.
Jane Redman, Cancer Research UK’s spokesperson, said: “Race for Life events are not competitive.
"They are not about being fit or fast. Instead, they are an amazing way to celebrate life but also remember those who have been lost to the disease.
“Participants may be walking or running, but what’s inescapable is the power and strength that comes from thousands of women joining together to confront
cancer.”
