HEREFORDSHIRE pop princess Ellie Goulding wowed thousands of people during a glittering set at Glastonbury on Sunday.

Wearing a gold crop top and black shorts, the 27-year-old from Lyonshall belted out 13 songs during an hour long set at the iconic festival's Other Stage.

Having made her Glastonbury debut on the John Peel Stage in 2010, Ellie's performance on Sunday attracted an average television audience of 940,000.

Songs that she performed included Starry Eyed, Lights and Burn, which peaked at the top of the UK charts for three weeks.

During her set, Ellie said that she wanted to cry when she greeted her adoring crowd and admitted that she changed her set list while on stage.

But she seemed to think that her performance went down well, because shortly after leaving the stage, she simple tweeted 'yeah'.

Ellie also took to her Instagram account to share a screen shot taken from the BBC's footage of her performance.

The image showed her looking out onto the vast crowd as the sun set in the distance.

Ellie started out performing in places such as Doodies in Hereford.

But, she has gone on to star at Madison SquareGarden in New York and sang at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding reception.
