TWO groups from the University of the Third Age (U3A) met in Ludlow to play Mah Jong by a different set of rules.
Visitors from Ledbury came to Ludlow to learn a different set of Mah Jong rules as taught to the Ludlow group by a guest from Sichuan, a province of China.
Mah Jong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance.
The Ludlow group meets at Helena Lane House once a month to play Mah Jong using traditional British rules as well as the Sichuan game.
This also helps keep this important community facility working as the group pays fees for its sessions.
