A LUDLOW street is to hold its own fringe festival as part of a busy summer programme of events in the town.

The Lower Corve Street Fringe Festival will be held this Sunday (June 22) between 12pm to 10pm.

Organised by the Lower Corve Street Fringe Committee the event will include an alternative dog show, including a competition for the best dressed dog, at 3.30pm.

There will also be a human statue, information stalls about local charities, including Blood Bikes and Ludlow Car Share Scheme, children's entertainment and a barbecue.

There will be live music and artisan stalls in the street from 12pm to 7pm.

At the Unicorn, starting at 7pm, there will be performers entertaining the crowds until 10pm.
