THE outgoing Mayor of Ludlow Jim Smithers raised £2,600 for two charities during his year in office.
He has presented cheques for £1,300 each to the Ludlow branch of the Royal British Legion and the First Responders who provide attend medical emergencies.
Jim Smithers made the presentations at the Ludlow Mayor Making ceremony to Priscilla Toop on behalf of the First Responders and to Alan Walker for the British Legion.
