THERE is a group being founded to help people in the Ludlow area struggling for the very basics of life.

Hands Together Ludlow is a new initiative that brings together volunteers and professionals from across a wide range of agencies to help people in our community who are struggling to cope with rising costs of living and are having to rely on food parcels.

It aims to help members of our community who are under pressure for whatever reason.

Hands Together Ludlow is the brain-child of David Harlington and Cathy Pritchard, members of Ludlow Methodist Church, and is an idea developed from the Churches Together around Ludlow.

The Ludlow Under Pressure steering group continues to monitor and respond to changing needs in what are still challenging times for many people.

‘Hands Together’ is being launched with a meeting at Ludlow Methodist Church at 7pm on Wednesday, June 4.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Earlier in the day, a van with information and publicity will be stationed in Castle Square to promote the event as part of the national Volunteers Week.
