BOWKETTS are proud to announce two apprentices at Bowkett's supermarket Tenbury Wells have now completed apprenticeship qualifications in butchery skills.

Congratulations go to Stuart Gittens and Brett Thompson who have been awarded FDQ certificates for proficiency in meat and poultry industry skills and City & Guilds in maths and English.

FDQ is a specialist awarding body, which pioneers the most innovative qualifications in the food industry – for the food industry

Roger Bowkett is pictured with Stuart and Brett with their certificates – Bowkett's believe it's important to pass on butchery skills to the younger generation and Stuart and Brett have not only gained experience working in the butchery department but now also have a recognised qualification

Bowkett's meat and poultry are locally sourced and prepared from carcass in-store by skilled butchers and are very pleased to have two newly qualified butchers as part of their team.

Staff at Bowkett's Food Emporium Cleobury Mortimer have completed and passed food safety in catering at Cleobury country centre.

Emma Greatwich of Bowkett's supermarket has completed a food safety in catering course.

Reena, Coral, Rachel and Emma, bake Bowkett's home made products including Bowkett's very popular quiches, cottage pies, lasagnes, sausage rolls, pork pies and scotch eggs – and much more.
