PLANS are progressing for the Stretton Medieval Fair.
More than 30 activities and traders are lined up and additional attractions will be added before the event in June.
Already on the programme are circus workshops, archery, an ale house, falconry, morris and maypole dancing, puppet theatre, a bouncy castle, jousting and ferret racing.
Some streets in the town will be closed off with stall holders taking the place of cars.
The Rector Field will be the heart on the Medieval Fair on Saturday June 21 but the weekend will get underway the night before with a medieval banquet at the Silvester Home Institute.
Organisers are keen to hear from volunteers who want to help and anyone interested should contact Alan Hyatt on 01694 723737 or email hyatthp@talk21.com
Tickets will be on sale from May 1 from Burway Books, Newsworld, the town council and local schools.
There are a variety of tickets available including: adult weekend £7 (£8 on gate); child weekend (under 14), £4 (£5 on gate); family weekend (two adults and up to four children) £25 (£30 on gate).
