A FAMILY owned design company based in Craven Arms is looking forward to further expansion.

Craven Design and Print was established in 1993 and provides a design and print service to customers across the UK.

It has been helped by a grant from the Shropshire Business Enterprise Fund.

“The Business Enterprise Fund grant has enabled me to purchase a new machine, which has made our operating processes swifter and more efficient,” said James Sherratt, director of the company.

“This investment is helping the business to take on larger contracts and expand into new markets, and we are delighted with the support we have received.”

Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council’s cabinet member for business growth, said: “Family-run businesses like Craven Design and Print are the heart blood of our market towns. The grant the company has received has made a real difference to the way it operates."

The funding is part of a capital grant programme delivered through the European Regional Development Fund and is available until December 2014.
