MARK Willis is the new mayor of Tenbury.

He moves up to replace George Price after 12 months as deputy mayor.

The new mayor has also headed the group on the town council that deals with emergency planning issues.

This has included looking at ways to protect Tenbury from flooding.

Members of the town council elected the new mayor at the annual town council meeting that followed the annual town meeting.
