THE Methodist Church in Bishops Castle is involved in an Easter egg project to help struggling farmers.

Real Easter Egg is a Fairtrade chocolate Easter egg that explains the Christian understanding of Easter.

A sizeable portion of the profits from these eggs goes to the farmers who produce the ingredients, allowing them to invest in their communities.

They can use the money for all sorts of purposes, like buying anything from schoolbooks to solar panels or providing fresh water.

The Real Easter Egg is now in its fourth year of production with more than 400,000 sold so far.

Inside the box there is an illustrated version of the Easter story, a high quality milk chocolate egg and an exclusive bag of Meaningful Chocolate Chunky Buttons.

Also on sale is the special edition Real Easter Egg, which has an olive wood holding cross from Bethlehem, an Easter message, an extra thick Belgian Chocolate gold foiled egg and an orange milk chocolate bar.

There is also a Sharing Box Real Easter Egg with 20 midi eggs and 20 copies of the Easter story booklet.

The eggs are on sale at Bishop's Castle Methodist Hall Fair Trade Shop.
