THE Federation of Chirbury and Stiperstones Church of England Primary Schools has chosen Sue Cooke, the current site head at Stiperstones, to take over when the current head Tim Roberts retires in July after 28 years of service at Chirbury.
It was three years ago when the federation was formed. Both schools have had good OFTSED and excellent Church Inspection results. Chirbury currently has 59 pupils and Stiperstones 38 (up from 26).
"The governors and I are delighted that Sue has accepted the position of our new head,” said Heather Kidd, chair of governors. "She has the vision and ability to build on the good work of her predecessor. Their partnership has taken both schools on from strength to strength."
