A NEW doctor has joined a Ludlow GP surgery as a partner.
Dr Catherine Bealand takes over from Dr Tom Boog-Scott who retired at the beginning of the year after 32 years in the practice at Portcullis surgery.
She qualified from Cardiff University in 1996 and has worked as a GP since 2007.
As a full time partner Dr Bealand has a special interest in women’s and children’s health as well as elderly care.
At Portcullis Surgery she has worked with the practice manager Annie Baird on engaging with the voluntary sector including developing a Compassionate Community project to help frail and vulnerable patients.
People interested in being involved in that project should contact Annie Baird at the surgery.
