A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a collision with a lorry near Ludlow on Tuesday, has been named as  Nicholas Stephen Taylor, 64, from Knighton.

Mr Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on the A49 Bromfield Road at around 2.30pm.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the circumstances and have renewed their appeal for witnesses.

An inquest will be opened next Thursday April 10, at Telford Registrar’s office for evidence of identification. It will then be adjourned to August 6.

Anyone who help police with the investigation should contact Ludlow or Shrewsbury police stations on 101.
