A HISTORIC pub near Tenbury is back on the market just over a year after it reopened.
The Talbot Inn at Newnham Bridge is for sale and according to the sellers trading strongly after an extensive refit.
It is being sold by Colliers International at £695,000 freehold.
Originally built around 1850 as a hunting lodge for the Newnham Estate, the front section of the bar seats around 18 with a large wood-burning stove providing a focal point.
The rear section provides around 30 seats, with a separate residents lounge for about seven and a private dining room that can accommodate an additional 35 seats.
It reopened in September 2012 after a two year refurbishment.
The Talbot had closed in 2009 and stood empty for a long time.
At one time there had been an attempt by a community group to buy the property but it was eventually purchased by a businessman who undertook the refurbishment and reopening.
