A LUDLOW student has managed to find time between his studies to train for the London Marathon.
Gareth Parker will be taking part in the race in April.
The 22-year-old is studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams College.
"I'm really buzzing and super ready for the race and know what to expect from the marathon as I ran last year, so I hope to go and thoroughly enjoy the experience,” said Gareth.
He will be running with his friend Amy Adams and they want to raise as much money as possible for the Lymphoma Association.
It is a charity that supports sufferers and their family of the illness which attacks the body’s lymphatic system.
The London Marathon, now sponsored by Virgin Money, has taken place every spring since 1981.
