THE army has been in Leintwardine today helping villagers battle the on-going wet weather.
But torrential rains storms have hit the village again this afternoon and a stream of water is currently pouring down High Street.
Villagers are bracing themselves for more flooding with several properties having sandbags placed in front of them.
With more heavy rain and winds forecast for the rest of today and into the weekend, West Midlands Ambulance Service is urging the public to take some simple precautions to stay safe.
The ambulance service continues to liaise closely with fellow emergency services and the Environment Agency in flood hit areas.
Additional vehicles with 4x4 capabilities are also on standby to provide further resilience if needed.
