SHEEP had to be cut free after an accident on the A49 at Onibury.
It happened on Monday morning and involved a trailer being towed by a four wheel drive vehicle.
Fire fighters from Craven Arms used cutting equipment to release 27 sheep that were trapped.
At the same time fire fighters from Clun and Bishops Castle made safe a vehicle involved in an accident at Bickton.
Both incidents happened at just after 6am.
