THE Ludlow and Tenbury areas have so far escaped the flooding devastation that has hit the south west of England.
But the area has still been affected with low lying land saturated with water.
This has included the playing fields near to the River Teme in Linney, Ludlow.
Lindridge Primary School, near Tenbury, was closed on Monday due to flooding of access roads around it.
Leintwardine has seen the worst of the flooding in the area with river levels high but not reaching the heights seen in 2007.
