Series of fires tackled in south Shropshire

FIRE fighters from south Shropshire have attended a series of fires.

In the past week there were fires in Bishops Castle and Hopton Wafers.

Calls were made for fire services to deal with chimney fires in Brick Meadow and Barkshead in Bishops Castle on Saturday morning (February 1) and Thursday evening (January 30).

On Friday morning (January 31) fire fighters from Cleobury Mortimer were called to a fire in Hopton Wafers.

A static caravan in All Stretton was also damaged by fire on Wednesday afternoon (January 29).
