CHILDREN in south Shropshire have been painting after being inspired by viewing one of the great masterpieces.
Lydbury North Church of England Primary School, part of St Michaels Federation, displayed their pictures at the SParc art gallery in Bishops Castle.
Children created the pieces during their arts weeks in October.
The work was inspired after a painting by Monet from Walsall Art Gallery was brought to the school as part of a national project.
Pupils from the school worked together to create collaborative paintings as well as individual pieces. The work was inspired by images from around Lydbury North.
