CHILDREN from Tenbury were spoilt for choice when it came to Father Christmas.

One of the highlights for the town is the annual Santa Parade which takes place which took place in Teme Street on Saturday (December 7).

This marked the culmination of the traditional Mistletoe Festival which also involves the crowning of the Mistletoe Queen.

When darkness fell there was a procession through the town with children playing a major part carrying coloured lanterns.

Anyone arriving late was in for a disappointment because Tenbury was full of people and parking spaces were at a premium.

The Parade takes place at the end of one of the busiest days of the year for Tenbury traders and it has become a popular attraction for people coming from as far away as Wales and the wider West Midlands.
