EMERGENCY services raced to a major fire at a converted Oast House at Woodston, near Tenbury, this morning.
It is believed that the fire started in an apartment at the rear of the three storey building around breakfast time.
A section of the roof was destroyed and there was extensive damage to the back of the Oast House.
An eyewitness said that there were at least 12 fire engines plus a fire service command post at the site not far from Lindridge School.
There was also a fleet of ambulances.
No information is available about any casualties but an eyewitness said that at least one person had been rescued.
