Two one-hour concerts had been arranged for the enjoyment of all the visitors to the museum. The band set up to perform the concert underneath Concorde.

“As we walked into the hangar there was definitely a ‘wow’ moment. It really did take your breath away,” said band chairman Lorraine Gray.

In between concerts there was time for the band to look around the museum and experience all that was on of fer. This included walking through Concorde and having photographs taken.

There was also a Vulcan Bomber on display and many dif ferent hangars full of civil and military aircraft.

The rest of the week was spent visiting the sights Edinburgh had to offer - from the vibrant fringe festival scene, to a walk up Arthurs Seat.
