Car roof removed following Ludlow accident
A VOLKSWAGEN Polo and a Loomins security van were in collision at the junction of Old Street and Temeside in Ludlow yesterday.
Emergency services were called at around 1.30pm with firefighters from Ludlow and Craven Arms arriving to find three casualties in the car. They removed its roof using cutting tools.
An ambulance and two responder paramedics were also at the scene.
One of five patients, who were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for treatment, had neck pain so a collar and spinal board was used to immobilise them.
