Comic Davidson to play his Tenbury show as planned after being released on bail

PERFORMER Jim Davidson is play Tenbury's Regal tonight(Friday) as planned.

The 59-year-old comic was re-arrested on Wednesday as part of the police's Operation Yew Tree.

The orginal arrest was sparked in January following allegations made to the police.

He's been bailed until May.

Publicity for the show says Mr Davidson's act "explores and discusses the topics of the day, with his own unmistakable, and hilarious eye on the world".

"One of Britain’s greatest, and best loved comedians ever leaves no stone of controversy unturned."

During a performance in Telford last night, Thursday, it's understood the comic told the audience about his experiences over the last few weeks.
