Woman sustains ankle injury following fall in Church Stretton

A WOMAN sustained an ankle injury after falling on a steep bank in Church Stretton yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the Old Rectory Wood near Church Street shortly before 11.45am.
The woman, who was believed to be in her 60s, was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment.
