TO coincide with the current The Last Supper exhibition at St Michael’s Church in Discoed, a series of talks will take place on Saturday afternoons at 4.30pm in St Andrew’s Hall, Presteigne.
The Very Rev Nick Bury, formerly Dean of Gloucester Cathedral, will discuss the art historical representation of the Last Supper.
The talk on Saturday will be about ‘Representations of the Last Supper from 600AD to 1495’ and next Saturday, March 16, the subject will be ‘Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper: creation, loss and recovery’.
No prior booking is required.
