Ludlow Art Society gears up for first exhibition of 2013

A COLLECTION of some of the best original work by Ludlow artists will go on display in the town.
The Ludlow Art Society is putting the final touches to work that will be shown at the Spring Exhibition.
It will include more than 200 paintings by professional and amateur artists.
The work that will be on sale at prices starting at £50 will include oils, water colours and pastals.
A variety of tastes will be catered for with subjects ranging from portraits to landscapes.
The exhibition at The Harley Centre at Ludlow College starts on Saturday, March 30 with a private showing the evening before.
“It will be a great chance for people to view and buy original art,” said Val Alexander, artist and member of the society.
The society holds two major exhibitions a year in the spring and late summer.
