THE chief executive of south Shropshire's largest social landlord will step down from his role in this year.
Martin Holland, chief executive of Shropshire Housing Group, has been at the forefront of social housing provision in the county for 21 years.
Shropshire Housing Group includes Meres and Mosses Housing Association, operating in the north of the county, South Shropshire Housing Association and maintenance firm, Total Response Limited.
Mr Holland, pictured, took up the post of chief executive of South Shropshire Housing Association in 1991 and went on to be instrumental in pulling together the group of companies under the Shropshire Housing banner, in 2007, creating a larger organisation able to benefit from economies of scale and shared expertise.
He will leave his post at Shropshire Housing Group at the end of July, when his successor will be in place.
