John Taylor stands accused of murdering his wife Alethea, pictured above.
THE trial of Orleton undertaker John Taylor is due to start this afternoon
Taylor, 60, of Mortimer Drive, Orleton, denies killing his wife, retired teacher Alethea Taylor.
She disappeared just over a year ago from their north Herefordshire home.
No body has ever been found.
Funeral home director Taylor, was due to stand trial yesterday morning at Worcester Crown Court.
