A49 now open at Ludlow after overturned tractor is removed

THE A49 in Ludlow was closed for a short time after a tractor and trailer overturned.
Emergency services recovered the vehicle before the road could be reopened to traffic.
It happened at the Rocks Green traffic island at lunchtime (today) and the A49 was open again by the early afternoon.
- On Sunday a fire crew was called from Ludlow to deal with a car that was completely burnt out by fire also on the A49 this time at in Ashford Bowdler.
Fire fighters used breathing apparatus to deal with the blaze.
