Snow causes traffic problems in south Shropshire

REPORTS are coming in of traffic problems in south Shropshire.
Conditions are particularly bad on the A49 south of Little Stretton where drifting is reported.
Drivers are being advised not to travel in this area if avoidable.
Motorists will also experience problems on the A489 at Craven Arms. The road is currently blocked because of an accident.
Reports are also coming in of a vehicle leaving the road in Marshbrook.
Heavy snow, with an icy wind, is the current situation in south Shropshire and a top temperature of 0 is expected later in the day.A
As of 10.30am today the A49 between Shrewsbury and Leominster is reported to be very slow going with some parts inpassable.
