Paddy to fight for the Tenbury Town Council
8:00am Friday 18th January 2013 in News
Boxing clever: Paddy is a well-known character in Tenbury,
MEET the latest addition to Tenbury Town Council.
As well as the small matter of running the town’s boxing club and championing a campaign to put a heart start machine in Tenbury Paddy Brennan is now a town councillor.
He has been coopted onto the council to take the place of former mayor Richard Jones who stood down last year.
The man who has won a number of awards for his work with the boxing club will represent the Tenbury Town ward until the next elections in 2015.
It really is a case of if you want a job doing find a busy man, as Paddy also runs a successful construction business and has spent much of the past 15 months helping to nurse his wife Rosemarie, who has suffered a series of strokes, back to health.
