A LUDLOW holiday business has started the new year with a brand new award.
The accolade from the AA came as a great Christmas present for business partners Willem and Pippa Vlok and Fergus and Anita d’Arcy.
Old Downton Lodge on The Rock is one of only nine guest houses in the country to gain five gold stars with awards for dinner and breakfast, and the first in Shropshire.
It was praised for the use of local produce in the cooking.
