LUDLOW sealed their first half of the season in Ener-G West Midlands Division Two with two thumping wins against Evesham and Aston University at the weekend.
James Pratt and Gavin Hughes scored two goals each in the 5-1 win against Evesham on Saturday, with Andrew Richards getting the other one.
And on Sunday, Pratt was the star man again as he scored four times in a 9-1 rout against Aston University. His brother Brendon g rabbed two goals, with Richards, Tom Moseley and Matt Blount also getting on the scoresheet.
Two goals from Steve Barnes and one apiece from Tim Machin, Graham Hutchinson and Aaron Wilcox helped Ludlow 2nd beat Old Wulfs 5-0, while Ludlow 3rd lost 5-2 to Cannock Fathom - Jake Watts and Tyler Davies grabbing Ludlow’s goals.
Zoe Morgan made several outstanding saves for Ludlow Ladies, but it was to no avail as her team lost 3-1 to Redditch in Worcestershire Division One.
Annette Burgoyne set up daughter Naomi with a goal for Ludlow in the second half.
But they were always up against it and Redditch won the game comfortably.
