WHEN Aladdin arrives at Ludlow Assembly Rooms next month, he’ll find Ellie Self waiting for him as Princess Jasmin.
Ellie trained in musical theatre at Millennium Performing Arts and has previously understudied the role of Princess Jasmin and performed in pantomimes at Nottingham Playhouse.
Since graduating she has appeared in a number of shows, most recently Pirates of Penzance at the Brookside Theatre in Romford. She was delighted to learn that she would be joining the cast, saying: “Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a trip to the local pantomime and I’m thrilled to be playing Princess Jasmin in Ludlow this year.”
Ellie joins the previously announced James Dakers, who is starring as Wishee-Washee and further casting announcements will be made on the official Twitter page – follow @ludlowpanto for all the latest panto gossip.
Aladdin runs from Wednesday, December 19, to Sunday, December 23, at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
