Bishop’s Castle old boys will face Ludlow veterans in a memorial rugby match this Sunday.
The match, played at Castle’s Love Lane ground (kick-off 1.30pm), is the first in memory of former Castle chairman, vice-president and supporter Owen Jones who died, aged 58, earlier this year. He was chair in 1993.
Castle spokesman Pete Bevan said proceeds from the hog roast, bar and raffle would be made to Cancer Research and the Air Ambulance.
