Waste management plans lodged
PLANS for an extension to Craven Arms' waste management facility have been submitted to Shropshire County Council this week.
Veolia Environmental Services, Shropshire Waste Patnership's waste collection and recycling contractor, has submitted the application to develop its depot on Long Lane Industrial Estate.
The plans will extend the existing Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) to the south on to land recently acquired by Shropshire County Council from Network Rail.
If planning permission is granted, construction is expected to start in 2009 with it fully operational 2010.
