Blaze hits farmhouse near Tenbury
PART of a farmhouse at Bleathwood Manor, between Tenbury Wells and Ludlow, was severely damaged when a fire ripped through the building.
At the height of the blaze, there were 35 firefighters in attendance.
The fire broke out at about 5.20pm on Saturday and swept through the listed property.
Alec Mackie, spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We managed to save the two wings at either side of the building, but the central section was severely damaged."
No-one was injured in the blaze, and no evacuations took place.
Crews from Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Kington, Hereford and Ludlow were in attendance throughout the night and Sunday morning, damping down.
