Police Community Support Officer Shelley Hyde

I work in the Cleobury Mortimer and Highley District area. I have worked for West Mercia Police since September 2009. The local policing team has a station based in the Severn Centre in Highley.

Police Community Support Officer Susan Eden

Sue started with West Mercia as a Special Constable in January 2000, a role she was in for for seven years. She then joined as a PCSO in July 2007 and was stationed in Craven Arms. In August 2008, she transferred to Bridgnorth rural and remained there until October 2013 when due to the force reorganisation she was then transferred to Bewdley. Sue transferred back to Bridgnorth in May 2015 and has now moved onto the Cleobury and Highley Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Sergeant Adrian Woolley

I Started in Feb 1995 at Ludlow and have lived in South Shropshire mainly since joining. I enjoy working in my home area because I feel I have an affinity with it , being able to make things right makes me feel proud to be here where it has happened.

In 1997 I moved to Shrewsbury to experience different aspects of Policing.

In April 2000 I qualified in Advanced driving and also became an authorised Firearms officer.

In March 2003 I was promoted to Sergeant and after my acting period I returned to Ludlow.

In 2004 I spent a few years as a Custody Sergeant and then returned to my response Sergeant role.

Having been asked to apply for the Safer Neighbourhood team in early 2012 I have remained in this role.

As long as I can catch a Burglar now and again I will always enjoy this career and not suffer from withdrawal.

I work with a dedicated team who make my job even better.

In my spare time I look forward to having fun with family and catching the occasional clean wave.

Inspector Ed Hancox
